I have ask my children what the earth hour campaign for. They reply it was an event where every body screaming in the dark then keep silent for a while. Then when the light switch on back, the people go on for thier ordinary life. The answer is no but true. Why? almost people go out for the campaign just for fun and watcher person without participate themseft with the main objective. They ignore to concious effectly on the move. According to Wikipedia.org, Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth Hour was conceived by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights.[1] Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008.[2][3] Earth Hour 2011 took place on March 26, 2011 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at participants' local time.

At KL itseft, there are several landmark including skyscrapers, universities, and shopping mall participate in Earth Hour 2011 such as KLCC, PWTC, Suria KLCC shopping mall, petrol station, National Planetarium, UPM, Stesen Sentral KL, Malaysia Airport, Tune Hotel, KL Tower, and Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall have plegde to support the campaign.

I think this was a fist step to decrease or co2 footprint level and make our planet more cool. ''Dark not just a black sight"
